Throttle Bandwidth for Bandwidth Testing using chrome

Recently we were working on an assignment and we needed to test the page load time and different bandwidth to optimize the page and page size.

Although lot of tools are available to do this task – but Chrome provides this feature in-built.

To throttle the bandwidth simulate EDGE (250 Kbps) below steps can be followed:

1. Open Chrome
2. Press F12 – to open Developer Tools
3. Click on “Mobile” icon in right
DeveloperTools

4. Select desired options for Device and Network –
Select Options for Network and Device
You are done 🙂
