Writing and Publishing Blog on WordPress using Microsoft Word

Today I decided to write a blog on “Nexus setup” and wanted to do it locally and in multiple steps. So I decided to use MS-Word as my blogging tool and thought to publish the steps I have followed.

Step 1: Click File ->New ->Blog Post -> New

Step 2: Click on “Register Now” button on Register a Blog Account dialog box.

Step 3: Select your blog provider in Blog dropdown – I chose WordPress – and click on Next

Step 4: Provide
your Blog Post URL, User Name and Password. If you are using CDN for images, use “Picture Options” else leave it as is.

    If you are blogging from your personal computer, you may choose to check Remember Password

    Click OK

Step 5: Click Yes when you get security warning dialog box as below:

Step 6: You are done with Setup when you see below dialog box. Congratulations!!

Now let us follow steps to publish the blog – I am publishing this blog using
Microsoft Word

Step 7: Write the blog with content

Step 8: On Blog Post Toolbar Click Publish -> Publish

Step 9: Click Yes when you get security warning dialog box as below:

Step 10: Your blog is published – Hurray!!
